We are GAP! Through its publications, traveling exhibits, papercutting conferences, workshops, and demonstrations, members of the Guild of American Papercutters (GAP) seek to spread and celebrate the art of cutting paper. Whether you actively design and cut in paper, or simply appreciate the finished works of papercutters, we invite you to join our community. Our worldwide membership embraces all styles, materials, cutting methods, and experience levels. However you work, whatever your style, you will find kindred artists in the Guild of American Papercutters.
Our virtual conference will include a Silent Auction where winning proceeds will benefit GAP, an opportunity to promote your art in the Virtual Art Fair, museum tours, guest speakers, 12 Workshops to choose from (all of which will be recorded for exclusive access after the conference), wellness breaks, and social events to meet other papercutters!
This conference could not have been put together without teamwork! The members of the organizing committee are: Bianca Levan, Rosa Leff, Marie-Hélène Grabman, and Carolyn Guest, as well as (ex officio) Mindy Shapiro, the President of GAP. Website: Jerise.
